The inner child represents the innocence and spontaneity of our early years but often becomes obscured by the challenges of adulthood. Childhood traumas, including abuse and neglect, can deeply impact the development of our inner child, shaping beliefs and instilling lasting feelings of fear, shame, or unworthiness.

These unresolved traumas manifest in mental health challenges, affecting our emotional well-being and hindering a full life experience. Societal pressures often lead to the suppression of our inner child's playful aspects, disconnecting us from the joy of our youth.

Healing involves acknowledging past traumas, nurturing wounded aspects with compassion, and reconnecting with the creativity and resilience our inner child embodies.

By embracing this essential part of ourselves, we embark on a journey of healing, self-discovery, and reclaiming joy, fostering emotional resilience and vitality in our lives.

In this class we will be using guided breathwork and meditation to bridge the connection with our inner child, re-visiting the ages of when we were 0-7 years old, the stage in which we are shaped by our external realities. This includes interactions with others and our environment.

We will be allowing memories, emotions and feelings to resurface from these ages, so that they can be acknowledged and transformed, with a new found understanding, awareness and acceptance.

We will be using neurographic art as a tool to help rewire our minds and re-structure belief systems and memories which may be holding us back as adults. *We stopped the recording after this session to give our clients a chance to share and reflect.
