Transforming Anger into Forgivness

 

In this class we will help unpick the origins of anger, and where it may manifest in the body and show up in our lives. Whilst also giving you guidance on how to navigate and transcend moments of anger, in a way that does not suppress it, but instead allows anger to be a conduit for growth. You may feel a sense of emotional release and/or inner peace as you engage in these exercises.

 

Beyond the immediate experience, this class will provide you with valuable tools for the future, empowering you to be able to respond to moments of anger with mindfulness and grace. In this class we will begin with breathwork and mediation, followed by an artistic neurographic activity based around transforming our anger into forgivness. 

 

Holding onto anger and resentment can lead to illness and dis-ease in the body. Cultivating a sense of forgiveness to ourselves and others can help shift this anger and transform it into something less invasive on our health and wellbeing.

 

GUIDANCE: We want to gently acknowledge that emotions may surface during our exploration. It's important to prioritise your comfort and well-being. Keeping a journal by your side is good to take notes, or even a piece of paper.

 

Equipment needed:

- Pen of your personal preference (Sharpie, fine liner, marker pen, gel pen, ink)

- Paper (Size of your preference)

- Colouring Equipment of your preference (Crayons, Felt tips, Coloured Pens, Watercolour, Chalk, Wax Crayons)
