Transforming Sadness into Gratitude

 

In this class we will be touching on the emotions around sadness and grief, and sharing a few ways in which we can help to release it, transform it and process it. Sadness can show up in our lives in many different ways, it may appear in the form of disappointment, regret, loneliness, heartbreak or loss.

 

Each person will have a unique experience with this emotion, and it may end up manifesting in the body as a form of dis-ease. Our focus in this session is to cultivate transformation using a guided Neurographic Art technique, breathwork and meditation to help you find a sense of peace and gratitude in the midst of our sadness.

 

Processing our emotions is an integral part of life, if we are to maintain balance, health and wellness. Suppressing emotions can change the way we interact with others, how we see ourselves and how we view the world. Gratitude is one of the best ways to help ease our sadness and transform it into something beautiful and positive.

 

GUIDANCE: We want to gently acknowledge that emotions may surface during our exploration. It's important to prioritise your comfort and well-being. Keeping a journal by your side is good to take notes, or even a piece of paper.

 

Equipment needed:

- Pen of your personal preference (Sharpie, fine liner, marker pen, gel pen, ink)

- Paper (Size of your preference)

- Colouring Equipment of your preference (Crayons, Felt tips, Coloured Pens, Watercolour, Chalk, Wax Crayons)
